History & Artisans

This rug is made by artisan families from Guerrero, Mexico, who work with natural palm using a traditional technique that begins with weaving the fiber into a long strip. Then, the braided palm is carefully sewn in a spiral to give it a circular shape.

  • If it gets wet, dry immediately and do not store damp.
  • To store or transport it, it can be carefully rolled up and can be ironed by placing a cloth between the iron and the rug.
